In November 2025, we released what we expected to be an unexciting feature. With our Microsoft PowerPoint Export functionality, it became possible to export projectProjectA project is a time-limited undertaking with defined objectives and resources that delivers unique results and often includes complex tasks. data into PowerPoint slides with the click of a button. It’s straightforward, simple, and not flashy at all.

It was met with an unexpectedly enthusiastic response. Turns out, our customers were tired of manually preparing slides for their presentations. And who can blame them?
So, How Does It Work?
We provide a list of placeholders for your projectProjectA project is a time-limited undertaking with defined objectives and resources that delivers unique results and often includes complex tasks. data fields, such project manager, status, and risk level. All you need to do is plug the relevant placeholders into a slide deck to create your custom template.
You have complete freedom to move things around and design the slides as you wish. For a lot of customers, this means using their organization’s corporate colors to make sure the slides match the rest of their presentations.
When you’re ready to go, just click “Export” in Meisterplan and see how data from your project(s) populate a slide deck in mere moments. It’s both efficient and aesthetically pleasing.
Tip: Whether you have multiple templates you want to use, or you don’t have time to configure your own slides at all, we’ve got you covered! Upload up to ten custom slide decks to use as templates, or use our free Meisterplan-branded template right out of the gate.

What Makes It So Great?
1. It's a Time Saver
The biggest draw has to be the amount of time and effort that users are saving. No more tedious manual effort or time wasted on transferring data from one place to another. Once you have your templates set up, it’s just a matter of hitting “Export” whenever you need the latest status report.
2. It Makes Sharing Information a Breeze
We know that not everyone in the organization uses Meisterplan – and that’s okay! The great part is that everyone knows how to use PowerPoint. When you export data to PowerPoint, you ensure that your reports are easily accessible no matter what. You can present the slides in status meetings, or send the files off to the relevant people in an easy and familiar format.

3. It Keeps Data as Accurate as Possible
Avoid the careless mistakes that can come with copying-and-pasting data back and forth. With this feature, you’ll rest assured that everything in your slides perfectly matches your Meisterplan system.
Plus, because it’s so quick, you can also avoid outdated information by exporting your projectProjectA project is a time-limited undertaking with defined objectives and resources that delivers unique results and often includes complex tasks. data exactly when you need it. There’s no need to prepare things too far in advance and risk the chance of last-minute changes.
And There’s Still More to Come!
Since releasing the PowerPoint Export, we’ve already added more functionality that our customers were asking for. For example, templates can now support SmartArt elements to elevate their design. And, we’re still hard at work developing further updates for this feature, so stay tuned!
P.S. Meisterplan is constantly evolving, and this feature isn’t the only thing we’re working on. Take a look at our Product Roadmap to see what we’re planning and leave feedback on the functionality that’s important to your organization.
